The show runs from 12h00 until 23h00. Entry is from R200 (general access tickets) to R500 (Golden Circle tickets) to catch a
multitude of artists and local acts including Deep Narratives, Naakmusiq, Dlala Thukzin and many more… Bring your family
and friends to the annual Deep Narratives Youth Fest only at Golden Horse, the premier entertainment destination of the
Midlands!

New Age Events & Management Group will be hosting the annual Deep Narratives Youth Fest. It is an event that celebrates
the rich heritage and youthfulness of South Africa, particularly the vibrant music, dance, and creative culture of the KwaZulu-Natal province. This festival seeks to promote and empower young people by creating opportunities for them to showcase
their talents on display, on stage and to vibe or connect with professionals in the music and creative arts industry.
This festival will take place on June 16, 2023, in Pietermaritzburg’s well known tourism hotspot – Golden Horse Casino.
Creating A Platform for Local Talent to Shine
With the help of the major sponsors who will be bringing this event to life: Golden Horse Casino – the foundation, Gagasi FM –
the voice, Extreme – the aesthetic and Redbull – the energy, New Age Events alongside Fanex has created a force that will
allow a number of the most upcoming young artists to be seen and recognized in the way they dream to, giving them a boost
in their careers in which they can represent their city locally and nationally.
The Youth Fest Outline
The festival aims to attract young people between the ages of 18 to 45 who are enthusiastic about music, dance, and culture.
The festival also welcomes people of all ages who are interested in experiencing authentic African music, culture, and food.
The Youth Fest will be a day-long event starting at 12h00 showcasing the best Afro house, Qgom, Deep house, Maskandi and
Amapiano music in the land. The event will feature live performances by established musicians and emerging artists, dance,
and Djing. The festival will also have food and beverage vendors, arts and crafts exhibitions, and pop-up shops selling Africaninspired fashion items.

The youth are the future of the music industry, and it is essential to provide them with the right opportunities and resources to
help them succeed. We believe that the Deep Narratives Youth Fest will provide an excellent opportunity to uplift youth and
promote African culture.
