AMERICAN ROULETTE SPIN-OFF

1. Any person who is under the age of 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition.
2. This promotional competition is exclusive to Golden Horse Rewards Programme cardholders and it is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
3. The promotion will run from 15 July 2024 to 21 September 2024.
4. The qualifying rounds will take place on the Main floor, American Roulette Table #14. The designated tournament tables will open daily from 14h00 to 21h00 from 15 July 2024 to 19 September 2024.
5. The tournament finals will take place on the 21^st of September 2024, from 18h00 on the tournament designated table, American Roulette Table #AR14.
6. An estimated share of R150, 000 in Cash and prizes is up for grabs in our American Roulette Spin Off tournament.
7. Entry to each heat of the tournament is by way of cash buy-in of R200/chip buy in/points buy in for which colour and/or tournament and/or No Cash Value chips (“chips”) will be issued.

After buying in from the dealer, each player will receive:

• 5 x stacks of colour chips at R10, or equivalent thereof.
• 3 Spins with a maximum of 120 seconds per spin to place bets.
• Players must play every spin, missing a spin or hiding chips will result in a player being disqualified for that heat.
• Players must play and finish the heat before leaving the table. Should a player leave chips on the table, placed or unplaced, and a new heat needs to be initiated, a grace period of 5 minutes will be granted and the heat will be completed without them. The remaining chips will be concluded as a score for that specific heat.
• Only one re-buy in will be allowed during/within a heat, R100 to receive 50 wheel chips to play within that specific heat i.e. within the 3 spins of the heat.
• R10 minimum will apply to all heats with a R200 maximum on the number, outside chances/bets can be played at R100 min and R2000/R4000 maximum, no full/half maximum bets allowed , and no call bets/section bets will be accepted, no courtesy bets

8. No point-earning criteria will be used, however, points can be redeemed for entries.
9. Players must play every spin, missing a spin or hiding chips will result in a player being disqualified for that heat.
10. Each colour chip will represent an unredeemable rand value of R10 whereas tournament and No Cash Value chips will represent the unredeemable rand value it bears for purposes of betting, determining of winners and ranking of players. These chips have no cash value and it cannot be redeemed for value in any form, or be used to place bets at live games.
11. We aim to achieve 500 entries over ten weeks, to have an estimated total prize money of R150 000. In the event of the targeted 500 entries not achieved or exceeded, the final total prize reached by the 19^th September 2024 will be the grand total prize to be won
12. Players may re-enter as many times as they wish, but an individual may hold only one seat in the tournament.
13. In the Finals there will only be 2 HEATS offered, one for group one and the second for group two. If there is a no show from the finalist or proxy by 18:00 or if the two groups’ heats/sessions have been completed, no other heat will be dealt for finalist who come late, therefore they will face disqualification and be excluded from the tournament with no re-imbursement.
14. Should participants wish to elect representatives through a proxy, they may elect representatives who may not be co-participants in the Finals. The nominated representatives will be required to play without any coercion and/or input/strategy from the nominating participants concerned.
15. All necessary paperwork will have to be completed for proxies. The proxy forms will be made available at the customer service desk from 15 July 2024 – 21 September 2024 before 18h00.
16. No sharing of chips will be allowed, each player will play their own chips and re-buy for themselves if they wish to do so.
17. All disputes must be raised within the spin in question. No dispute will be considered after the spin-in
18. At the end of a heat players will need to sign a score sheet acknowledging their score.
19. The leader board will be updated daily, and display the top 21 players. Players shall only be awarded one spot on the leader board, therefore the highest score for one guest will be considered and displayed on the leaderboard.
20. During the finals all players will be allowed to hold 1 seat only.
21. Once a participant qualifies into the Finals, no buy-ins will be accepted at this stage of the Tournament
22. All top 10 Finalist or Proxy must arrive at 18:00 for registration of seats and rules explanation, thereafter the Final game will commence.
23. Values won in the qualifying rounds will not be carried forward to the Finals.
24. No coaching between players will be allowed, players must play their own game without being influenced or influence other players throughout the tournament. The discretion of management or the Tournament Director will be used.
25. In the event of a no spin, an additional 30 sec will be given to each player to change their bets if they feel the need to do so
26. In the event of a tie a spin-off will occur i.e. affected participants will each get one stack of colour and one spin to untie the knot. The participants with the highest score will gain the higher position and the participants with the lower score will gain the next position. In the event of one participant affected by the tie is not present, the absent participant will automatically qualify as the lowest winner in the tie position.
27. ONLY the top 5 highest scores will be eligible for a share of total prize money with a breakdown of 50%/20%/15%/10%/5%.
28. PA system will be used to announce winners and prizes won.
29. The decision taken by Tables management will be Final and Mandatory, no other correspondence parties will be entered into
30. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
31. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management. This may include rescheduling times and draw date.
32. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
33. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
