PMB Food Festival brings you a feast fit for a King
The “bigger and better” Pietermaritzburg (PMB) Food Festival returns to Golden Horse for the second time on Saturday, 5 October. This popular food and music lifestyle event celebrates South African diversity and culture through the love of food and music. Businesses in the food and beverage industries are given the opportunity to showcase various cuisines and drinks to visitors. The public can expect to be treated to a variety of delicious dishes prepared by professional chefs and caterers from more than 50 stalls, including gourmet food, pastries, finger foods, traditional cuisine, pizzas, spit braais, potjiekos, sushi, desserts, various meat dishes, vegetarian meals, smoothies, and more. This year’s main attraction in the drinks section is an exciting Shampompo (i.e. champagne) Village and a Gin Bar where lovers of gin and champagne can discover brand-new trendy taste sensations. Lovers of cocktails, craft beer and wine will also be spoilt for choice! The festivities start at 10h00 at Infield. The general adult entry ticket is from R100 per person – don’t forget to use your Rewards card to claim your discount! Get your tickets online goldenhorse.co.za or at Computicket.
