R2.2-Million In Prizes – Including A Chance To Win A Kia At The 2014 Golden Horse Sprint

Someone will be driving away from the 2014 Golden Horse Sprint Race Day on Saturday the 24th of May in a brand new, nifty Kia Picanto. Kia – one of the main sponsors of the sprint event – is putting the zooty car up for grabs in the Golden Horse Tri-fecta Draw which takes place at the end of the race day.

“We’ve got over R2.2-million in prizes to give away at this year’s Golden Horse Sprint Race Day, with R2-million to be won in the horseracing events, over R100 000 prizes to be won in the Fashion Design Competition, and now the Kia Picanto as a prize in the Tri-Fecta Draw.

“We are thrilled to have Kia onboard as a sponsor and look forward to seeing one of our race day guests driving away in a new car,” says Golden Horse Casino’s Marketing Manager, Prabashni Reddy.

The Kia competition is open to anyone and everyone – over the age of 18. There are three ways to get in the running to win the car, valued at R100 000.00.

Between now and the 21st of May, entries can be submitted via sms. Simply sms the word “sprint” to East Coast Radio’s competition number, 33116, to become a finalist in the draw, as well as a chance to win a VIP experience for two, including accommodation, VIP seats at the Golden Horse Sprint Race Day, VIP tickets to the after party, and a Nokia Cell phone.

Active members of Golden Horse’s Rewards Programme qualify for a complimentary draw ticket. These can be collected at the casino’s customer services desk and placed into the entry bins located on complex.

On race day, visitors can enter their completed “winning” or “losing” race day tickets into the entry bin. All entries received will be entered into the random draw on the promotional stage at Scottsville Racecourse at 17:30 on the 24th of May.

In addition to the Kia Piancto, there are other super prizes to be won. The second prize is a two-night stay for two in the Presidential Suite at Golden Horse hotel, including breakfast.

The third prize is a two-night stay for two at the Beverly Hills hotel (suite), including breakfast. According to Reddy, there is no limit to the number of entries individuals can submit. “If you are a Rewards Programme cardholder, don’t forget to collect your complimentary draw ticket. To increase your chances of winning, make sure to enter via sms, and submit your race day ticket at Scottsville Racecourse on the day of the sprint,” encourages Reddy.
